Disclosed is a disposable urine trap in the form of a foldable pad that encloses and closes the male genitalia to form a barrier that prevents urine from leaking out of the trap. A urine trap includes a pair of asymmetric wings that are separated by a gap and attached to the body of the pad. The first wing includes parallel side edges 32 and a distal edge perpendicular thereto, preferably rectangular and longer than the second wing. The second wing includes a generally parallel side 48 and a distal edge 50 that forms an obtuse and acute angle thereto. The urine trap also includes an adhesive strip 70 for securing to the patient or the patient's waistband. In addition, a second sticky strip 72 is used to cover the patient's genitals in a bag or folded state to prevent urine leakage.
