The present invention provides a composite film, consisting essentially of sulfated polysaccharide of brown algae and chitosan, wherein the sulfated polysaccharide and the chitosan are in a ratio ranging from 15:85 to 25:75 by weight. The composite film of the present invention may be used as wound dressings, effective in promoting blood clotting, inhibiting inflammatory responses, promoting wound healing, accelerating angiogenesis and collagen protein production.本發明提供一種複合薄膜,其實質上由褐藻硫酸多醣及幾丁聚醣所組成,其中,該褐藻硫酸多醣與該幾丁聚醣的重量比為15:85至25:75。本發明之複合薄膜可作為傷口敷料,具有凝血效果、可減緩發炎反應、促進傷口癒合、加速血管新生及膠原蛋白生成。
