PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral composition having collagen production promoting action and collagen decomposition inhibitory action, and having excellent periodontitis prevention and improvement effect and periodontal tissue regeneration effect.SOLUTION: An oral composition containing Hordeum vulgare, Apocynum venetum and Brasenia schreberi is found to have collagen production promoting action and collagen decomposition inhibitory action. Use of an oral composition according to the present invention produces excellent periodontitis prevention and improvement effect and periodontal tissue regeneration effect.
