PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an input operation to a medical image.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus of an embodiment includes an input device 20, an acquisition part 171, an information storage part 183, a determination part 172, and a measurement part 173. The input device 20 receives specification of a measurement item using the medical image. The acquisition part 171 acquires a position in the medical image of a specified point specified on the medical image by an operator. The information storage part 183 stores a plurality of correction modes for correcting the position of the specified point on the basis of image information of a vicinity area in a prescribed range from the position of the specified point including the specified point in the medical image. The determination part 172 corrects the position of the specified point according to the prescribed correction mode determined on the basis of the measurement item, and determines the point of the corrected position as a correction point.
