PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic pencil lead exhibiting a sufficient color development and density of a drawn line, giving good application feeling and having excellent mechanical strength (bending strength, tensile strength, impact strength, etc.) and a method for producing the pencil lead.SOLUTION: The cosmetic pencil lead contains comprises a porous silicon oxide as a skeleton and a sericite having an average particle diameter controlled to 3.5-10 &mum as a diathesis material. The cosmetic pencil lead containing a porous silicon oxide as a skeleton is produced at a low temperature by adding a polysiloxane having a structural unit of formula (I) (wherein R1 and R2 are identical to or different from each other and are each an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a hydroxyl group or a siloxane group) and containing a porous silicon oxide as a skeleton to a compounded composition at least containing a diathesis material and a colorant and subjecting the obtained mixture to a microwave heating treatment.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】十分な発色性、描線濃度を持ちながら、塗布感が良好で、機械的強度(曲げ強度、引張強度、衝撃強度等)にも優れた化粧用鉛筆芯及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】酸化ケイ素多孔質体を骨格とし、平均粒径を3.5~10μmに調整されているセリサイトを体質材として含有することを特徴とする化粧用鉛筆芯。本発明の製造方法としては、酸化ケイ素多孔質体を骨格として構成する下記一般式(I)で表される構造単位を有するポリシロキサンを体質材及び着色材を少なくとも含有する配合組成物中に存在させ、マイクロ波加熱処理を施すことにより、酸化ケイ素多孔質体を骨格とする化粧用鉛筆芯を低温で製造することを特徴とする。【化1】【選択図】なし
