PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a rotating position without arranging a bored hole for a rotary encoder at a disc frame of a filter turret.SOLUTION: The filter turret 15 is arranged to block a main light path in an endoscope light source part. Filter areas F1-F4 having different spectral transmittances are arranged at the filter turret 15. A light emission part and a light receiving part of a transmission photointerrupter 18 are arranged by sandwiching the filter turret 15. Light with a wavelength area that is not used in endoscope observation is used at the light emission part of the transmission photointerrupter 18.
