The present invention relates to an apparatus for drying sawdust. According to the present invention, sawdust (a culture medium) for mushroom cultivation or wet sawdust disposed from a farm is dried by the apparatus and is used as fuel. More specifically, flame is generated on the bottom by using pellets. Wet sawdust is transferred in a horizontal direction in inner sides of sawdust transferring screw modules installed on multiple stages on an upper part of the apparatus. Flame of a pellet combustion screw dries the moving wet sawdust. Steam generated when the wet saw dust is dried is rapidly discharged through an exhaust pipe and an exhaust fan.
