An apparatus for massage therapy is provided for optimising therapy while reducing negative effects on a therapist. The apparatus comprises, a housing comprising a first end and a second end； a drive assembly coupled to the housing； a massage member in communication with the drive assembly, the massage member being proximate the first end of the housing； and a static mass coupled to the housing； wherein the static mass is proximate the first end of the housing and wherein, in use the static mass is arranged to be immovable with respect to the housing.The apparatus of the present invention aims to provide an effective therapy solution while reducing the risk of vibration related injury to an individual providing the therapy.L'invention concerne un appareil de massothérapie et permettant d'optimiser une thérapie tout en réduisant les effets négatifs sur un thérapeute.
