Method of estimating respiratory movement in data of obtaining images contains stages at which subjects electrocardiogram is additionally obtained in the process of obtaining images and used to gating image data in order to form cardiosynchronised data, after which cardiosynchronised data are divided into time subintervals in order to obtain respiration-synchronised heart images, centre of activity is determined in respiration-synchronised heart images and centres of activity in different respiration-synchronised heart images are compared in order to form vectors of respiratory movement.
