PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaged carbonated water and a manufacturing method thereof, the carbonated water having improved feel of stimulation, harshness, and astringency of carbonic acid, being most suitable for mixer of alcoholic beverages.SOLUTION: The packaged carbonated water satisfies any one of the following: (A) calcium content: 25 to 48.5 ppm and (B) magnesium content: 7.8 to 15 ppm having excellent feel of stimulation by carbonic acid, without strong harshness and astringency. The packaged carbonated water has a hardness of 70.5 to 138, and a carbon dioxide gas content of 0.55 to 0.75 wt.%.
