PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed mixed with broccoli leaves as a material which has no other application besides feed, and is to be wasted under normal conditions, and also a material which has nutritive element effectively usable as feed.
SOLUTION: Broccoli leaves to be mixed with the feed are boiled in hot water added with ashes and salt in a pretreatment process so as to remove the harshness. It is possible to effectively remove the harshness and keep dissolution of the broccoli leaves to a minimum in the pretreatment process by adding ashes and salt to hot water.
