PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous composition in a container allowing: suppression content solidification and property change by suppressing moisture transpiration of the aqueous composition in a container excellent temporal stability and prevention of clogging by suppressing dryness of a content adhered to an outlet even when a spray type container or a pump type container is used.SOLUTION: An aqueous composition in a container contains the following components (A) to (D): (A) a polyoxyethylene alkyl or an alkenyl ether where an alkyl group or an alkenyl group has a carbon number of 20 to 24 and an ethylene oxide has an average addition molar number of 1.5 to 4 (B) a water-soluble polymer (C) a compound having a steroid skeleton with a carbon number of 27 to 30 and (D) water.
