Disclosed is a recirculating aquarium which places hydroponic plants in a filtration tank and purifies pollutants. The aquarium comprises: a case in which breeding water is circulated as the inner space thereof is formed as a breeding tank of the front side and a filtration tank on the rear side by a partition installed at a height of 0.5 cm or more from the floor, wherein the inside of the case is divided into two sections, in which the front side is the breeding tank and the rear side is the filtration tank, and for the size of the rear side, the height is properly adjusted depending on the size of a water tank but should be at least 7 cm or more a partition installed at a height of 0.5 cm or more from the floor, a little lower than the top of the water tank, wherein the breeding water of the breeding tank is made to flow into the filtration tank of the rear side by installing a hanging filter in one upper end of the partition or installing a side filter, a sponge filter, a underwater pump or the like in the breeding tank of the front side and a filtration means which removes nitrate and phosphate contained in the water by filling the filtration tank section of the rear side with loess balls up to 2 cm below the top of the partition and sufficiently placing hydroponic plants, wherein the breeding water passing through the filtration tank flows into the breeding tank of the front side to be circulated through a portion below the partition.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015여과조에 수경식물을 배치하여 오염물질을 정화하는 순환여과수족관이 개시된다. 그러한 수족관은 내부의 공간이 바닥에서 0.5cm이상의 높이에 설치된 칸막이에 의해 전면의 사육조와 후면의 여과조로 형성되어 사육수가 순환되는 케이스 상기 케이스의 내부를 2개의 구역으로 나누며, 전면은 사육조가 되며 후면은 여과조가 된다. 후면의 크기는 세로 폭을 수조 크기에 따라 적절히 조절하되 최소 7cm이상 되게 한다. 바닥에서 0.5cm이상의 높이, 수조 상단보다 조금 낮게 설치된 칸막이 상기 칸막이의 한 쪽 상단에 걸이식 여과기를 설치하거나 전면의 사육조에 측면여과기, 스펀지 여과기, 수중 펌프 등을 설치하여 사육조의 사육수를 후면의 여과조로 흘러 보낸다. 그리고 후면의 여과조 구역에 황토볼을 칸막이 상단의 2cm 아래까지 채우고 수경 식물을 충분히 배치하여 물속에 함유된 질산염과 인산염을 제거하는 여과수단을 포함한다. 여과조를 통과한 사육수는 칸막이의 아래 부분을 통해 전면의 사육조로 흐려서 순환하게 된다.
