PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the measuring precision in a blood pressure measuring device.SOLUTION: In a hemodynamometer, the peripheral length of a measuring region is acquired (S101) to determine a parameter for controlling the drive voltage of a pump on the basis of the data of the peripheral length (S401), and the drive voltage is determined on the basis of the parameter and the internal pressure of a fluid bag to pressurize a fluid bag (S403). The lowest blood pressure value in a pressure process is calculated (S405). Further, the highest blood pressure value is estimated (S301): if the internal pressure of the fluid bag reaches the highest blood pressure value, pressurization is stopped (S107). Next, the gap of a value for discharging a fluid from the fluid bag is determined on the basis of the peripheral length of the measuring region (S109) and the gap is made constant to control the pressure in the pressure process so as to reduce it (S111).
