PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to achieve a high accuracy of blood pressure measurement in a double-cuffed blood pressure meter.SOLUTION: A blood pressure meter according to the present invention comprises: a pressing cuff 23 formed in a pouch shape in which a first fluid can be accommodated; a pressing member to be wound around a measurement site of a subject, the pressing member generating a pressing force toward the measurement site when the pressing cuff 23 is inflated; a sensing cuff 21 formed in a pouch shape in which a fluid can be accommodated and disposed on a side opposite to a measurement portion of the pressing member; adjustment devices 30, 33 for adjusting the amount of the first fluid in the pressing cuff 23 and the amount of the fluid in the sensing cuff 21; a pressure sensor 32 for detecting a pressure within the sensing cuff 21; and a controller 100 for controlling the operation of the adjustment devices 30, 33 at measurement of the blood pressure such that the amount of the fluid corresponding to biological information of the subject is accommodated in the sensing cuff 21 and that in this state the pressing cuff is inflated or inflated and deflated, the controller also calculating the blood pressure value of the subject from an output of the pressure sensor 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10【課題】ダブルカフ構造を採用した血圧計で高い血圧計測精度を達成可能とする。【解決手段】本発明の血圧計は、流体を収容可能に袋状に構成された押圧カフ23を含み、被検者の被測定部位に巻き付け、押圧カフ23を膨張させることによって、被測定部位へ向かって押圧力を発生する押圧部材と、流体を収容可能に袋状に構成され、押圧部材の被測定部位との対向面側に設置されたセンシングカフ21と、押圧カフ23における第1流体の量及び前記センシングカフ21における流体の量を調整する調整装置30,33と、センシングカフ21内の圧力を検知する圧力センサ32と、血圧測定時に、被検者の生体情報に応じた量の流体が前記センシングカフ21に収容され、この状態で押圧カフが膨張するか又は膨張及び収縮するように、調整装置30,33の動作を制御するとともに、圧力センサ32の出力から被検者の血圧値を算出する制御部100とを備えている。【選択図】図10
