The present invention relates to a system for diagnosing a companion animal and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the system includes a measuring device which measures a weight applied to each leg of a companion animal by using a plurality of sensors, provides the intrinsic characteristic information of the companion animal and the measured weight information to a diagnostic server, and requires an abnormal symptom diagnosis of the companion animal, and the diagnostic server which checks the intrinsic characteristic information and the weight information of the companion animal provided from the measuring device according to the request of the measuring device, extracts abnormality symptom statistical data corresponding to the companion animal from a DB storing the abnormality symptom statistical data according to the intrinsic characteristics of companion animals learned in advance, and diagnoses an abnormal symptom according to the weight distribution of the companion animal. It is possible to systematically manage the musculoskeletal disorder of the companion animal.본 발명은 반려동물 진단 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 시스템은, 복수의 센서를 이용하여 반려동물의 각 다리에 가해지는 체중을 각각 계측하고, 상기 반려동물의 고유 특성 정보와 상기 계측된 체중 정보를 진단서버로 제공하여 상기 반려동물의 이상징후 진단을 요청하는 측정장치, 및 상기 측정장치의 요청에 따라 상기 측정장치로부터 제공된 상기 반려동물의 고유 특성 정보 및 체중 정보를 파악하고, 사전에 학습된 반려동물들의 고유 특성에 따른 이상 징후 통계 데이터가 저장된 DB로부터 상기 반려동물에 대응하는 이상 징후 통계 데이터를 추출하여 상기 반려동물의 체중 분포에 따른 이상 징후를 진단하는 진단서버를 포함한다.
