PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of securely providing users own nails with desired curves for a short time from 30 minutes to one hour with a very simple operation without using artificial nails such as false nails.
SOLUTION: The method includes the following steps: A mold having recesses having a form complemental to a nail surface and having desired curves, is provided (1). The nail surfaces are coated with a nail softening agent to soften the nails (2). The nails are so fit to the mold that the nails are accommodated in the recesses (3). Pressing the recesses of the mold against the nail surfaces provides the nails with the desired curves (4). The mold is removed from the nails (5). The nails are washed and hardened by being exposed to a nail hardening agent (6).
