An endoscope system, a processor device, and an endoscope system operation method are provided which enable after-the-fact verification of whether or not pre-imaging was performed under suitable conditions. The endoscope system has an oxygen saturation calculation unit which uses a LUT to calculate the oxygen saturation of an observation target, and is further provided with: an image acquisition unit which acquires a correction image obtained by imaging the observation target prior to calculation of the oxygen saturation； an image correction amount calculation unit which uses the correction image to calculate an image correction amount for the oxygen saturation calculation image； an image correction unit which corrects the oxygen saturation calculation image in accordance with the image correction amount； and a storage unit which associates and stores the correction image and an oxygen saturation image that represents the oxygen saturation calculated by the oxygen saturation calculation unit using the corrected oxygen saturation calculation image.Cette invention concerne un système d'endoscope, un dispositif de type processeur et un procédé de fonctionnement du système d'endoscope permettant de vérifier après coup si une pré-imagerie a été effectuée dans des conditions convenables ou pas.
