Soluble collagen and a preparation method thereof are herein provided and directed to converting insoluble collagen into soluble collagen without being decomposed into gelatin by applying controlled heating time and temperature. The soluble collagen of the present invention consists of 10-40 wt% collagen having molecular weight lower than 290kd and 60-90% collagen having molecular weight above 290kd. The soluble collagen of the present invention may be prepared as a cosmetic mask.一種可溶性膠原蛋白及其製備方法，其原理是利用控制的加熱時間及溫度，而使難溶性膠原蛋白成為可溶性，並且不會分解成明膠。其中可溶性膠原蛋白係由10至40重量百分比之小於290kd之膠原蛋白以及60至90重量百分比之290kd以上之膠原蛋白所組成。本發明之可溶性膠原蛋白可形成面膜，並可用於醫美用途。
