PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus accurately evaluating the appearance beauty of the skin of a subject.
SOLUTION: An image obtaining part 110 obtains an original image of the skin of the subject, which includes a plurality of kinds of component images. A hemoglobin extraction part 120 extracts a hemoglobin component image as one of the component images from the obtained original image. A detection part 130 detects the smoothness of the pixel intensity of at least partial region of the extracted hemoglobin component image. A data conversion part 140 converts the detected smoothness into the color unevenness degree corresponding to the color unevenness of the original image.
