PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe anti-androgenic hormone preparation or hair papilla cell proliferation enhancer having at least either one of testosterone 5&alpha-reductase activity inhibitory effect, androgen receptor antagonism and hair papilla cell proliferation enhancing effect.
SOLUTION: The anti-androgenic hormone preparation contains at least one of Myrica cerifera extract, Piper kadzura extract and Agrimonia pilosa extract. The hair papilla cell proliferation enhancer contains at least one of Myrica cerifera extract and Vaccinium spp. extract. A preparation for external use for the scalp and the hair containing the anti-androgenic hormone preparation and/or the hair papilla cell proliferation enhancer is also provided.
