PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation catheter including a catheter shaft which has a small diameter and of which a tip part can vibrate.SOLUTION: In a catheter shaft 20, a vibration generating mechanism 30 mounted with an electrode device 27 including an electrode 27e for ablation of a biological tissue is stored. One end of a rotating transmission wire 36 is connected to the vibration generating mechanism 30 and the another end of the rotating transmission wire 36 is led out from a terminal of the catheter shaft 20.
