The absorber 4 comprises a base material sheet 20 and an absorbent core 14 formed on one surface of the base material sheet 20. The absorbent core 14 comprises a water absorbent resin 40 and a water soluble polymer 47 for fixing the water absorbent resin 40 to the base material sheet 20. The surface sheet 2 comprises a pair of compression grooves 6 formed on a skin facing surface or non-skin facing surface of the surface sheet 2 and extending in a vertical direction, the compression groove respectively formed on one of both side parts along the vertical direction X on an excretion part facing part B.
