PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinal cord stimulation system equipped with a conducting wire anchor for retaining and fixing a stimulation conducting wire.SOLUTION: A spinal cord stimulation system includes an implantable pulse generator, a plurality of electrodes for delivering an electric pulse to a patient, a plurality of conducting wires for connecting the plurality of electrodes to the implantable pulse generator, and a conducting wire anchor 170 for retaining at least one of the plurality of conducting wires at a desired position inside the patient. The conducting wire anchor 170 includes a retaining screw 312 for engaging with at least one of the plurality of conducting wires. Also, the conducting wire anchor 170 includes a sleeve-like body having a central cavity 174 in which the conducting wire is received, and includes one or more suture thread engaging surfaces 379 for winding suture threads to fix the conducting wire anchor 170 at a desired position of the patient.
