A surgical port for inspecting a body cavity of a patient, such as the abdominopelvic cavity, following surgery of the patient. A flexible head with a silicone base part is connected with a working lumen trough a longitudinal tube arranged for surgical inspection through an incision in the body cavity of the patient. An inflatable ballon for fixation of the surgical port in the incision, circumscribes a distal part of the tube, and a first input channel in the flexible head allows gas contact to the ballon for providing inflation via a separate channel arranged along the tube forming the working lumen. A second input channel in the flexible head is in contact with the working lumen to allow inflation of CO2 in the body cavity prior to inspection through the woring lumen.
