A blade (1) for a hedge trimmer comprises a plurality of cutting teeth (11, 12, 13, 14), each tooth having a longitudinal axis extending laterally away from the long axis of the blade, each cutting tooth comprising a root (33) and a tip and opposing sides extending between the root and the tip, characterised in that at least one of the cutting teeth comprises a special tooth which is sharpened along at least one flank (11b, 11c) to form a cutting edge which extends to the free end of the tooth, and further in which the free end of the special tooth includes a connecting edge (11a, 12a, 13a, 14a) which extends from one flank of the tooth to the other and at least one part of which is inclined at an angle of between 4 degrees and 20 degrees relative to the long axis of the blade.Linvention concerne une lame (1) pour taille-haie, comprenant une pluralité de dents coupantes (11, 12, 13, 14), chaque dent présentant un axe longitudinal sétendant latéralement en séloignant de laxe de la longueur de la lame, chaque dent coupante comprenant une racine (33) et une pointe ainsi que des côtés opposés sétendant entre la racine et la pointe. La lame selon linvention se caractérise en ce quau moins une des dents coupantes est une dent spéciale qui est affûtée sur au moins un flanc (11b, 11c) pour former un bord coupant qui sétend jusquà lextrémité libre de la dent, lextrémité libre de la dent spéciale comprenant un bord de liaison (11a, 12a, 13a, 14a) qui sétend dun flanc à lautre de la dent, au moins une partie dudit bord étant inclinée selon un angle compris entre 4 et 20 degrés par rapport à laxe de la longueur de la lame.
