A protective accessory is disclosed to protect a chest wound of an individual, especially for an individual undergoing open heart corrective surgery. The protective auxiliary device includes a body, a protective pad and two fasteners. The body comprises a first piece piece and a second piece which are relatively arranged on the structure, and the body is used for wearing on the individual.
