PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous combination of patient information and order content.SOLUTION: A medical terminal executes a search mode for automatically detecting and reading out barcode information by controlling a focus of a camera. When the medical terminal reads out a patient barcode indicating a patient ID for identifying a patient, the medical terminal automatically shifts into the search mode for detecting and reading out the next barcode.
