The present invention relates to an electronic device which can be worn on a body of a user, comprises: a sensor for sensing a body of a user to generate body environment information； an operation performing unit for performing a healthcare operation having any one of a plurality of operation states； a communications unit capable of communicating with an external device； and a control unit for controlling the operation performing unit to perform the healthcare operation in the state of any one of the operation states in the body of the user, controlling the communications unit to transmit the body environment information and information on the operation state of the operation performing unit to the external device, and controlling the operation performing unit to perform the healthcare operation in the operation state corresponding to user control information received through the communications unit from the external device among the operation states of the operation performing unit.
