PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of a conventional foot bath device used by an aged person or a patient not capable of freely moving feet by oneself as lying down: there are faults such that operation to set a foot bathtub on a bed and to put the feet thereinside is difficult to need two caregivers, and that the longitudinal section of the inner face of the foot bathtub is nearly quadrangular to need a large amount of hot water so as to warm the feet, so that the conventional foot bath device does not spread very much.SOLUTION: In this foot bath device, by making the front face and the rear face (a face opposite to the patient) of a foot bathtub a V shape, a high water level is obtained even with a small hot water amount, an upper part of a support leg is connected to an upper part of the front face (a face on the patient side) of the foot bathtub, and the support leg and the front face forms a reverse V shape. The foot bath device has a structure to be able to change the angle of the reverse V shape in a prescribed angle range, so that even one caregiver can easily put the feet of the patient as lying down into the foot bathtub and can stably set the foot bathtub.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】 自分では足を自由に動かせない患者や高齢者が寝たままで使用する従来の足浴器は、足浴槽をベッド上にセットしてその中に足を入れる操作が難しく、2名の介護者を必要としていた。また、足浴槽内面の縦断面が四角形に近く、足を温めるために多くのお湯の量を必要とするなどの欠点がありあまり普及していない。【解決手段】 本発明では、足浴槽の前面と後面(患者と反対側の面)をV字型の形状にすることにより、少ない湯量でも高い水位が得られるようにし、また、足浴槽の前面(患者側の面)の上部に支持脚の上部が結合され、支持脚と前面が逆V字形状を形成し、逆V字の角度を一定の角度範囲で変えることができる構造として、一人の介護者でも、寝たままの患者の足を容易に足浴槽内に入れて足浴槽を安定にセットできるようにした。【選択図】図1
