An embodiment of the invention provides a diaper wetness sensing apparatus, which forms a coupling capacitor using the principle of charge couple. A single electrode sheet is attached to the outside surface of the diaper as the coupling electrode. The measurement unit senses the coupling capacitor between the electrode sheet and the inside of the diaper, and the wetness of the diaper is determined accordingly.
