PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant stem holder which can improve workability and protect a seedling, such as a remarkable reduction in the labors of work for holding the stem of a seedling and a prop, the non-damaging of the stem, even when the seedling is grown to thicken the stem in some extent, and good slippery on the prop.SOLUTION: A plant stem holder comprises: a first nipping piece 2 and a second nipping piece 3 for forming a stem-receiving portion 4 for holding the stem of a plant and a prop the first hinge portion H1 for openably binding the first nipping piece 2 and the second nipping piece 3 and a nipping piece-binding portion 5 which is placed on the outer side than the first hinge portion H1, and whose one end is bound to the second hinge portion H2 at a place near to the base end portion of the first nipping piece 2 and whose other end is bound to the third hinge portion H3 at a place near to the base end portion of the second nipping piece 3.
