PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dusting powder for suppressing the production of sunburned fruits.SOLUTION: The agent for protecting fruits from sunburn essentially includes a water-soluble calcium salt (except for calcium lignin sulfonate) and a lignin sulfonate, provided that the compounding ratio of the water-soluble calcium salt to the lignin sulfonate in terms of weight is within the range of 90:10 to 50:50.
