PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce restrictions as much as possible when the part of a patient is arranged between an X-ray generating section and an X-ray detector.SOLUTION: This medical X-ray CT imaging system includes: a base body 22 a supporting section 30 and a rotation driving section which rotate-drives the supporting section 30. In this case, the supporting section 30 includes: a supporting arm section 32 which supports the X-ray generating source 36 and the X-ray detector 37 under a confronted state and a rotation supporting section 40 which rotatably supports the supporting arm section 32 to the base body 22. At least on one of the base body 22 and the rotation supporting section 40, a cavity section 48 which forms a space around the rotation axis A is formed.
