A tabletop section comprising first and second ends parallel to a first direction, a connector at the first end for attachment to a second tabletop section, a locking pin 115 forming part of the connector, first and second sides 102 connecting the first and second ends which are in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction wherein each side has a handle 103a and one of these has a switch 109 for moving the locking pin 115 and wherein either the locking pin 115 moves in a direction parallel to the second direction or the switch 109 moves in a third direction perpendicular to both the first and second. The switch 109 may have linear or rotary movement, move within a recess formed in a side wall and be biased towards a locked position. The connector may use a hook 112 whose opening is closed by the locking pin 115.
