PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plants with modified alpha-mannosidase activity, which can be used for the production of glycoproteins having an altered saccharide composition of great benefit.SOLUTION: There is provided a Nicotiana tabacum plant comprising modified plant cells.
