The present invention relates to powder compositions of a complex between an acid or a corresponding anion and at least one metal or corresponding metal cation, said corresponding anion or acid being selected from the group containing 2- hydroxy-4-methylthio-butanoic acid (HMTBA), methionine, aspartic acid, alginic acids, pectinic acids and the corresponding anions, and said metal or metal cation being divalent or trivalent. The particle includes an amorphous fraction, the mass of which represents at least 50%, specifically at least 70% and more specifically at least 90% of the total mass of the particle, said particle being substantially free from non-complexed anion or acid and non complexed metal cation or metal.La présente invention a pour objet des compositions pulvérulentes d'un complexe entre un acide ou un anion correspondant et au moins un métal ou un cation métallique correspondant, ledit acide ou anion correspondant étant choisi dans le groupe comprenant l'acide 2- hydroxy-4-méthyl-thio-butanoïque (HMTBA), la méthionine, l'acide aspartique, les acides alginiques, les acides pectiniques, et les anions correspondants, ledit métal ou cation métallique étant divalent ou trivalentjadite particule présentant une fraction amorphe dont la masse représente au moins 50%, en particulier au moins 70%, plus particulièrement au moins 90%, de la masse totale de ladite particule, ladite particule étant substantiellement dépourvue d'acide ou d'anion non complexé et de métal ou de cation métallique non complexé.
