PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a falling device that can support a large load by a simple structure.SOLUTION: In an arm 95 supported by a fulcrum 105, a first edge 96 supports a falling body (door 23) installed upward in a falling manner, and an attracted part 101 comprising magnetic materials is provided in a second edge 97. A magnet device 94 attracts the attracted part 101 from the lower part in the cut-off of current flow, supports the falling body by the first edge 96, and weakens attraction force in the power supply. The fulcrum 105 and the magnet device 94 divides and supports the load of the falling body through the arm 95, and therefore the load to be supported by the magnet device 94 can be made small.
