The present invention relates to a preparation method of ground powder of ginkgo husks, ground powder of ginkgo husks prepared thereby, and a pest control agent having increased antibacterial activity and germicidal power by using the same, wherein ginkgo husks collected from ginkgo trees are subjected to separate work processes. According to the present invention, there have been researches and studies on developing natural antibacterial and germicidal agents which are non-toxic to a human body and eco-friendly by using natural extracts and materials. As a result, it was found that ginkgo husks exhibit high pest control activity against various plant diseases.
