PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and useful adenosine triphosphatase (ATPase) expression inducer, and to provide a cosmetic composition with an ATPase expression inductive action.SOLUTION: The invention provides an ATPase expression inducer containing a phenylethylamine derivative or synephrine.
