PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To pave a vacant ground within the site so as to easily walk while implementing joint planting.SOLUTION: An auxiliary pavement material 1 is installed while being accommodated in a joint J formed from a pavement material 2 which is laid over a vacant ground V within the site. The auxiliary pavement material 1 comprises a horizontal part 10 of which the width is approximately equal to or a little smaller than that of the joint J, and leg parts 11 which are protruded downward from both side edges over a length direction in the horizontal part 10, respectively, to make the auxiliary pavement material 1 channel-shaped of which the lower side is open. The auxiliary pavement material 1 is installed by burying the leg parts 11 in a ground G located at the joint J in such a manner that the horizontal part 10 is positioned on or lower than an upper surface 20 of the pavement material 2, and a plurality of through holes 10a are formed in the horizontal part 10, thereby preventing the growth of ground cover plants from being disturbed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】敷地内の空地を、目地植栽を実現しながら歩行などし易く舗装できるようにする。【解決手段】敷地内の空地Vに敷設される舗装材2によって形成される目地Jに納めらて設置される補助舗装材1である。目地Jの幅と略等しいか稍小さい幅とを備えた水平部10と、この水平部10における長さ方向に亘る両側縁部からそれぞれ下方に突き出して補助舗装材1を下側開口のチャンネル状とする脚部11とを有している。水平部10が前記舗装材2の上面20以下に位置されるように脚部11を前記目地Jにある地盤Gに埋め込んで設置されるようになっていると共に、水平部10には複数の貫通穴10aが形成されて地被植物Pの生長を妨げないようになっている。【選択図】図4
