PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article in which a cross area where a lattice-state embossment pattern is formed, is hardly broken, for improving a use feeling felt by a wearer.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 comprises: a liquid permeable surface sheet 14； a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 12； and an absorber 13 provided between the surface sheet 14 and the rear surface sheet 12, and includes a pulp 29 and SAP 27, on the surface sheet 14 side of the absorber 13, plural compression rows 22 formed of plural recess parts 21 formed by compressing the surface sheet 14 and the absorber 13 and crossing mutually, are arranged. The plural recess parts 21 have a multi-stage structure, and a value of a pulp amount/SAP amount on the absorber 13 including cross areas 23 of the compression rows 22 is larger than a value of a pulp amount/SAP amount on the absorber 13 in the compression rows 22 other than areas including the cross areas 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
