A bone plate may be used to fix one or more bones. In a particular example, the bone plate defines an elongate body having a plurality of fixation holes arranged at different points along the length of the body. For example, the bone plate may have opposing fixation holes separated by a bridge. The bone plate may be bent or molded along a central longitudinal axis extending through the elongate body and may be twisted about the central longitudinal axis. Bending and twisting allow each fixing hole of the elongated body to be located in different planes of the three dimensional space.
