The present invention relates to a use of an animal model with chronic cerebral hypoperfusion as an animal model having depression. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for producing an animal model with depression by inducing chronic cerebral hypoperfusion, an animal model with depression produced thereby, and a method for screening antidepressants using the same.
