To provide a hair treatment preparation composition suppressing hair touch decline caused by a chelating agent and to provide a method for using the same.
SOLUTION: The hair treatment preparation composition comprises a hair dye composition constituted so that an oxidative dye, an alkali agent and an oxidizing agent are mixed together in use and an after-treatment agent to be used after treating the hair dye composition. In this hair treatment preparation composition and the hair dye composition contains a chelating agent so as to be at 0.3-2.0 mass% when mixed and the after-treatment agent contains at least one compound selected from aminoethylsulfonic acid and salts thereof.
