The invention relates to a pet food composition comprising at least one natural antioxidant and at least one synthetic antioxidant and at least one acidity regulator component to regulate the pH, wherein the pet food composition does not contain 1,2-dihydro-6-ethoxy-2,2,4-trimethylquinoline.
