The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition comprising polyvalent pyrithione metal salt； 0.001% to 3% by weight of thymol and 0.001% to 3% by weight of terpineol, where the ratio between the percentage by weight of polyvalent pyrithione metal salt and the sum of the percentage by weight of thymol and terpineol ranges from 0.005: 1 to 200: 1.a presente invenção refere-se a uma composição antimicrobiana que compreende sal metálico polivalente de piritiona； 0,001% a 3% em peso de timol e 0,001% a 3% em peso de terpineol, em que a razão entre o percentual em peso de sal metálico polivalente de piritiona e a soma do percentual em peso de timol e terpineol varia de 0,005:1 a 200:1.
