The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition comprising polyvalent metal salt of pyrithione； 0.001% to 3% by weight thymol, and 0.001% to 3% by weight terpineol； wherein, the ratio of %weight of polyvalent metal salt of pyrithione to sum of % weight of thymol and terpineol ranges from 0.005:1 to 200:1.La presente invención se refiere a una composición antimicrobiana que comprende una sal de metal polivalente de piritiona, entre el 0.001% y el 3% en peso de timol, y entre el 0.001% y el 3% en peso de terpineol； donde la relación de % en peso entre la sal de metal polivalente de piritiona y la suma del % en peso del timol y del terpineol varía entre 0.005:1 y 200:1.
