PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of inflammation disease containing decaspermum fruticosum extracts or asthma are provided to prevent increase of eosinocyte of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and secretion of eotaxin and immunoglobulin of the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid and blood. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of inflammation disease contains decaspermum fruticosum extracts as an active ingredient. The extract is extracted using water, alcohol or a mixture thereof as a solvent. The alcohol is C1-C2 low grade alcohol. The low grade alcohol is ethanol or methanol. A manufacturing method of the decaspermum fruticosum extracts comprises the following steps: adding an extracting solvent to the decaspermum fruticosum in order to extract； filtering the extracts； vacuum concentrating the filtered extracts； and freeze-drying the condensed products. A pharmaceutical composition for prevention and treatment of asthma contains the decaspermum fruticosum extracts as an active ingredient. A health supplement for prevention and treatment of inflammation disease contains decaspermum fruticosum extracts as an active ingredient. A health supplement for prevention and treatment of asthma contains the decaspermum fruticosum extracts as an active ingredient.본 발명은 데카스퍼뮴 프루티코숨 추출물을 함유하는 염증성 질환 또는 천식의 예방 및 치료를 위한 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 데카스퍼뮴 프루티코숨(Decaspermumfruticosum) 추출물이 난백알부민(ovalbumin)-유도 천식 동물 모델에서 기관지 폐포세척액의 호산구의 증가를 억제하였고, 페포세척액 및 혈액의 면역글로불린의 분비와 케모카인(Eotaxin)의 분비를 억제하는 활성을 가짐을 확인하였고, 인위적으로 유발시킨 염증에 대한 대식세포의 NO와 TNF-a 분비를 억제함을 확인함으로써, 데카스퍼뮴 프루티코숨 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 염증성 질환 또는 천식의 예방 및 치료를 위한 의약품, 건강기능식품에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
