<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong a flowering period when flowers are in bloom in a lighting apparatus for plant growth. <；P>；SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus for plant growth is equipped with a light source part 3 for irradiating a plant 1 with light. The light irradiated from the light source part 3 is made to have the ratio of energy contained in light at wavelength of 450-500nm to that contained in light at wavelength of 300-800nm of &ge；45%. Consequently, the plant 1 irradiated with such light is controlled in growth and is slow in flowering of bud and aging of flower in bloom is controlled.
